Miss Gay of the Universe 2010 will be held in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte this year on 2 January 2010 at 8 PM at the F.E. Marcos Mini Cultural & Sports Complex (aka the Plaza).

Last year, it was well attended -- the audience had over 4,000 people from around the Ilocos region. It was an entertaining and enjoyable event. It was professional. It began on time and ended on time. The judges were impartial and objective and the best, competitive candidate won. The cash prizes were substantial. The final question was: "Krinitiko si Santo Papa sa pagsasabing mga bakla ay danger sa lupa katulad ng global warming. Naniniwala ka ba o hindi?" (in response to this story) The answers were thoughtful and entertaining and a timely discussion on matters important to gay and transgender Filipino/as. This year's pageant looks to outdo last years by far.

NAG DESISYON na ang Korte Suprema na labag sa Konstitusyon ang ordinansa na nagbabawal ng short time sa mga motel sa siyudad ng Maynila. Who Is Marco Morales?

by Reign Loleng Last week, I was able to see a movie called “Booking” and boy was I disappointed. I meant to write a review the film, but during my research I was more interested with its lead star – Marco Morales. I googled him and boy was I overwhelmed with the throng of blog articles (and pictures) about him. Who is he? A friend told me that he was once a part of GMA-7’s Sunday afternoon show SOP and was a singer and a member of a boy group SOP Showboyz. So is he a singer? Not quite. I checked his filmography – not much there – and I noticed that he has appeared prominently in three films - “Booking”, “Butas”, and “Walang Kawala.” All three films are independently produced and let’s be frank about this, they all sell sex. Of the three, “Booking” and “Walang Kawala” are gay-themed and I happened to have seen both of them. So he is actor, then? Let’s check.
