Wowowee... Gay... Equality...

When I was browsing youtube earlier I bumped into this video about an OFW contestant who played in the Bigatin portion of "Wowowee" (ABS-CBN) hosted by Willie Revillame which was aired last January 30, 2009.

I was so kilig while watching the clip. Not just because the story of Red and Wilmer was really inspiring but also because you can see the atmosphere in the studio that's so very light and they really understand what's going on. I was so releived that these guys were treated right not only by Willie but also by everyone. There was no sign of discrimination and everybody respected their relationship. Just like what Willie said--- "show the world!".

The future is uncertain but I can say that the future that we all dream where "we" are not different is not that far.

    This is so ironic to Willie's "sana'y ma-devirginize ka na" comment years ago. Although what he said on the clip was worth the applause, I am unsure about its sincerity.

    Okay na sana. Kaya lang must Willie kinda embarrass his staff? Or is that an in-joke that I didn't get? Well at least, the staff seemed game.

    Aww, good for them... I really didn't mind Willie, my eyes were just focused on the two love birds.

    Definitely a must-see by every gay couple in the world to remind us that we have every reason to be proud of who we love. Screw society's cliches, discrimination, and stereotypes.

    iba naman ang take ng ilang bayot sa bukid na nakakita sa live telecast -- medyo nababoy nga daw kasi nag-kiss pa raw ang dalawa on cam. OK lang daw sana ang kiss pero parang may halong kantyaw ito.

    i was so touch while watching this, and the moment they share about there feelings naiyak ako sobra..coz i remember my fromer boyfriend who showd the real loved for me but unfortunately where already separated bacause he belongs to some1 else..i miss him so much.and watever he did i still love him. im just happy for the moment i was watching this, the crowd and the people accepted 8 w/o any discrimination. this shows that were still human being.we also need understanding and support to those people sorround us.im so proud of u guys..keep 8 up and god bless you...sana magtagal kau nd lang mag tangal kundi pang habang buhay..mabuhay kau! at mabuhay ang mga bakla.

    In fairness to Willie, kaya ganun reactio nya na nice kasi nagkaroon na rin sya ng gay relationship before. baka nga madami na.

    He even admitted albeit indirectly dati on national tv. when asked by cristy fermin in an interview na he was seen with a gay guy or is living in with a gay guy, willie said, "so what?! wala namang masama kung malink me sa bading.!!masaya pa nga!!"

Who Is Marco Morales?

I meant to write a review the film, but during my research I was more interested with its lead star – Marco Morales. I googled him and boy was I overwhelmed with the throng of blog articles (and pictures) about him. Who is he? A friend told me that he was once a part of GMA-7’s Sunday afternoon show SOP and was a singer and a member of a boy group SOP Showboyz. So is he a singer? Not quite. I checked his filmography – not much there – and I noticed that he has appeared prominently in three films - “Booking”, “Butas”, and “Walang Kawala.” All three films are independently produced and let’s be frank about this, they all sell sex. Of the three, “Booking” and “Walang Kawala” are gay-themed and I happened to have seen both of them. So he is actor, then? Let’s check.
